Detroit River Ducks - 02-03 Feb 2010


A couple more trips to the foot of St. John's in Wyandotte yielded this pair of Redhead. Ice has disappeared along the shoreline, and the large rafts of Canvasbacks/Redhead with it. Among the remaining Mallard were this female American Black Duck (note the dull yellow-green bill) and this adult male (bright yellow bill).
