Greater Yellowlegs - 19 Oct 2021

I stopped by Lake Erie Metropark to look for an American Golden Plover that was reported earlier in the day. I did not find it, but did find 6 Greater Yellowlegs in the same area. As it was late in the afternoon the light was going out and all I could manage was a few flight shots as several of the birds flew by.

The marsh did hold a nice number of Wood Ducks, and I spotted the first Gadwall and American Wigeon of the season. And, the first Rusty Blackbirds!
