While watching the end of the Michigan-Indiana football game yesterday I had a knock on the window.  This Red-eyed Vireo had kissed the glass and lay momentarily stunned on the ground below. It quickly flew to the lilac bush just a few feet away and stayed for several minutes while it recovered.  I took several photos of it through the window, but even at ISO 800 it was too dark to get a clear shot.  So the best I could was convert the image using a dry-brush filter in Photoshop to create this pseudo-watercolor image.

Also consider putting up some decals to deter birds from approaching too close to your windows.
