Good Morning, Shorebirds! - 14 Jul 2019


Wanting to see what the north end of Cell 1 had to offer in the way of morning light, I rode out from Roberts Road parking lot to check on shorebirds. The lighting is much, much better in the early morning. The Lesser Yellowlegs, Short-billed Dowitchers, Least Sandpipers, Semipalmated Sandpipers and Wilson's Snipe were now joined by 4 Pectoral Sandpipers! Let the digiscoping begin:
