Dickcissels and 1st Martin - 13 Jun 2021

The best therapy for stress is to stand in a prairie and listen to the calls of Bobolink, Savannah Sparrows and Dickcissels.  Too bad it was so windy. Still, I managed a few nice pics of some very nice birds here at the Antennae Farm.

And who doesn't love watching the calming effects of Halloween Pennants alighting on prairie grasses.

Juvenile Purple Martins showed up this evening. This fella was here at the farm, while a flock of juveniles were in a snag along Rheaume Rd.

Another juvenile bird appeared. American Robin.

A flock of Sandhill Cranes flying overhead was a nice way to end the evening.
