Another Slow Morning - 17 Sep 2024

Warm, dry weather and south winds have been knocking down both warblers and hawks these past few weeks. Elizabeth Park continues to be slow with only an American Redstart and a couple of Magnolia Warblers seen this morning.

Detroit River Hawk Watch was also a bit slow. I did manage a few Sharp-shinned Hawk photos and a small kettle of Broad-winged Hawks appeared just before I had to leave at 11 am.
