American Coots - all over, singing and courting
A Common Gallinule - new - hidden in reeds about 20 yards into the
marsh.  I could see its orange bill quite clearly.
Common Yellowthroat, Indigo Bunting, American Wigeons, Common and Forster's Terns (100's roosting out past the 1st dike on the mudflats), Least and Spotted Sandpipers, Semipalmated Plovers, Blue-winged Teal, Northern Shovelers, Ruddy Turnstones, Short-billed Dowitchers, and MallardsCarp were all over the shallows mating.
