Belize, Roatan Cruise - 03 Mar 2003
Robin and I took a cruise w/ Glenn, Terry, Matt and Leah Schafer to Belize and Roatan. Our first stop in Belize took us to a Rum factory / plantation,
a Sea Turtle Preserve,

a volcanic outcropping that held Common Moorhen and Black-necked Stilts,

spent leisure time on a big boat,
and discovered the art of "Digi-Binning". I was playing w/ my brand new pair of Nikon Venturer LX 10x40 Binoculars and Robin's new Fuji FinePix 4800 Digital Camera. When I held the camera to the binocular eyepiece I found that I could take magnified images with fairly good quality!
We visited an Aztec Ruin in Roatan.
We returned to Miami and had a few hours to kill, so we took an airboat ride in the Everglades.
