Howdy mich-listers,

Today at Pt. Mouillee I found a juvenile Western Sandpiper in the southeast corner of Cell 2. I observed it for about 30 minutes at close range. It was a bright youngster with a somewhat long bill, in with all the other peeps. I also had at least 2 Bairds Sandpipers and 2 Hudsonian Godwits in Cell 2, along with decent numbers of Stilt Sandpipers, and SB Dowitchers. I did not see the White Pelicans or the Red-necked Phalarope.

Good Birding
