0900 Hrs. A walk at Crosswinds Marsh along the Blue Heron Trail yielded a cooperative Blue Heron
along with groups of Barn, Bank and Tree Swallows. The middle guy below is a juvenile Bank Swallow. Sixty-plus Purple Martins were roosting atop dead snags over the marsh.
