Semipalmated Sandpipers - 19 Sep 2004
A pair of juvenile Semipalmated Sandpipers at the Gibraltar Landfill ponds were a nice find this evening. Digiscoped the pair. Note the short black bill and fresh brown-and-black feathers on back and wings. Black legs are clean.
A Dunlin was also find nearby.
