1100 Hrs. Drove up to Central Lake last evening. Snow squalls and traffic made for a 6 hr. trip. Saw many herds of deer feeding in fields along the highway – groups of 10 – 25 at a time. Saw numerous Red-tailed Hawks and one Red-shouldered Hawk along the way.

Driving back from Boyne City we saw groups of 8, 12 and 50 Wild Turkey along Peninsula Dr. in someone’s front driveway. Very cool. A flock of 5 Snow Buntings also greeted us as we drove south toward East Jordan.
