1300 Hrs. Hot, humid, 90ºC. Little-to-no wind.
The Dickcissels are still singing in the meadow near the 1-mile marker.
Did not hear the Henslow’s Sparrows in the same vicinity. A Scarlet Tanager was singing near the entrance to the Nature Center.
Other birds heard: Eastern Wood-Pewee, Eastern Phoebe, Red-eyed Vireo, Warbling Vireo, American Goldfinches, Field Sparrows, Eastern Kingbirds, Eastern Meadowlarks.
