Greater Yellowlegs @ Crosswinds Marsh - 30 Oct 2005

1400 Hrs.   A walk through the marsh yielded little to start.  Winds and slightly overcast skies made viewing difficult.  I took a few flash photos of milkweed pods opening, but very few birds.

As I approached the Bald Eagle Trail as it heads back toward the parking lot I saw about a dozen American Robins, Eastern Bluebirds, Golden-crowned Kinglets, Tree Sparrows (first of year), Rusty Blackbirds, Song Sparrows, Northern Cardinals, and (4) Greater Yellowlegs near the pagoda.  I was able to get some digiscoped images in the waning light.
