Leaving Lakeland - 22 Jan 2006

1200 Hrs. Time to go to the airport. No time to bird out back. 

No sooner that Robin and I had gone to the pond and seen 6 Sandhill Cranes fly overhead, along w/ several Brown and White Pelicans, did we get a call that the bathroom sink was leaking. 

Frank next door drove us to the airport, and along the way we saw several Osprey, Black Vultures, a pair of Sandhill Cranes along the freeway. As we took off for Detroit a Bald Eagle was sitting along side a pond next to the runway.
