Baby Coots! - 26 Jun 2006
An early morning bike ride started at Roberts Road and ended at Cell 3. Redhead (5) were swimming in the Humphries Unit.
Forster's Terns are nesting in the Humphries with several birds flying back and forth from Lake Erie.
This Eastern Kingbird posed nicely from a phragmites stalk in Cell 2.
A muskrat den hosted a Black-crowned Night Heron.
The highlight was seeing and adult American Coot with four baby coots!
