Oahu, Hawaii - 15 Nov 2007
Travel day! Robin, her mom (Esther) and I flew United Airlines from Detroit to Chicago, and then from Chicago to Honolulu. We arrived at 3pm in Honolulu and took a shuttle to the Marriott Waikiki Beach. Along the way I managed to see the following urban birds: Spotted Ground Dove, Zebra Dove, Mourning Dove, Pacific Golden Plover, Common Myna, House Finch, House Sparrow, and Rock Pigeon (pale white).

After registering we found out our room for 3 only had a double bed. So, we were able to get a new room with a fabulous view of Diamond Head Crater and Waikiki Beach.
A quick dinner and a short walk along the beach was enough for the evening. Signing off at 8pm.
