Peregrine Update, Monroe PP - 04 Jun 2008

Got a call from Tim Walsh (Fermi PP) this morning. Apparently a female Peregrine Falcon was found dead at the Monroe Power Plant. It is surmised that it was one of two females in the area that may have been killed by the other.

A pair of Peregrines are nesting at the Monroe PP and have given birth to 3 chicks. One of the chicks fell out of the nest and is being rehabbed by local rehabber Dave Hogan. Word is that it is feeding and doing fine, and will be returned once its ready to fledge. The other 2 chicks are doing fine. Thanks for the call, Tim!
