Happy Spring! - 20 Mar 2009

Although it was a bit chilly today, there was not a cloud in the sky. A quick cruise through Oakwoods Metropark this late afternoon only yielded 3 Eastern Meadowlarks and a pair of Eastern Bluebirds. The only other birds seen were a couple of Red-winged Blackbirds and a dozen or so American Robins. Very quiet... Still, a nice way to start the new season.

This male bluebird posed nicely in the tree next to the road and allowed me a few digiscoped images from below.
