Allen Park Ovenbird! - 01 Oct 2009

My Dad has taken yet another step toward getting his tiny yard in Allen Park certified as a National Wildlife Reserve. Tonight he casually showed me pictures of an Ovenbird that has been hanging around the back yard for the past 4 days. Amazing!

Earlier this year he had a rooster Ring-neck Pheasant in the yard, which was soon followed by a pair of Mallard.

Boys and girls, keep your eyes open! You never know what'll turn up...
