Duck and Wolf - 29 Jan 2010
A quick run to the foot of St. John's in Wyandotte revealed open water and only a handfull of duckies. Highlight was a half-dozen Redhead close enough to shore to get a pic or two.
This evening also featured a 'Wolf's Moon' - a full moon that will be the closest and largest all year. While driving home around sunset, the rising moon appeared to be size of Jupiter on the horizon. It was huge! By the time I'd gotten home the moon was higher in the sky and already shrinking, so I grabbed a quick digiscoped image or two.
