White-throated Sparrows - 27 Apr 2014

I came home from Ohio on Saturday and found 5 White-throated Sparrows in the yard here in Wyandotte, MI.  They stuck around on Sunday and provided an opportunity for me to digiscope them w/ my Zeiss 85T*Fl and Nikon V1.

I also took a few pics with smaller Nikon ED50 and iPhone 4s using the Kowa iPhone digiscoping adapter.  Images are not quite as sharp, and the camera has no control over blown highlights, but the records committees will still accept the photo documentation that the system provides. The trick to iPhone-skoping is to take video and take stills from the video.

I also took a few pics through the back window using the Nikon D7100 and 300/2.8VRII and 1.4TCEII.
