Good Raptor Morning - 11 Jan 2015

A walk around the Nelson and Long Pond Units this morning was not very birdy, but a Rough-legged Hawk was a nice find! No Snowy Owls were seen, but I ran into Tom Cocklemeyer and he reported seeing 4 birds yesterday mostly in the southern portion of the Humphries Unit.

Other raptors seen this morning included:

3 Northern Harriers

3 Bald Eagles

2 American Kestrel

and a Red-tailed Hawk.

Alway great running into Will Weber, as well!
