Short-billed Dowitcher - 18 Aug 2018
An adult Short-billed Dowitcher was preening this morning in the Long Pond Unit of Pt. Mouillee SGA. After taking several images at ISO 3200 in the low light I put the 4K video capture to work.
Other highlight from the morning was seeing an adult Virginia Rail and 2 chicks. Andy Sturgess reported a King Rail, but I could not relocate it.
