Deep Freeze - 20 Jan 2019

Our first snow of the season was promptly followed by sub-zero temperatures. We didn't reach the -32F temps that Minnesota got, but we got as low as -5F. Skies were clear and the rising sun put a nice glow behind the dozen Blue Jays that visited the feeders. The Northern Cardinals were hunkering down on the ground as the snow was warmer than the air.  I forgot about the Blood Moon (lunar eclipse) that occurred at Midnight, but I did get a few digiscoped images of the full moon at 7pm.
