Yard Goodies! - 25 May 2020

On Saturday morning an Eastern Kingbird popped into the yard for a few minutes.

A bit later a Cooper's Hawk flew over the house, followed by a Turkey Vulture.

Toward the end of the evening the male Ruby-throated Hummingbird visited the feeder. I managed a few pics before he flew off.

With the Eastern Bluebirds on the nest the male and female have taken to perching on Judy's banner pole next door. I even had to chase the male off her lawn just minutes after the landscaping crew fertilized the lawn. Last thing I need is to see dead bluebirds in the yard...

This evening (28th) a brief cloudburst soaked the bluebird couple, but they were back on perch next door.
