Pine Siskins - 18 Oct 2020
After hosting a single Pine Siskin for the last week or so today was time to clean the thistle feeder. My timing could not have been better. Within the hour the yard was visited by a dozen Pine Siskins!
I managed to get the back window open so I could digiscope and photograph them from inside the house.
Additional yard visitors included 3 White-crowned Sparrows, 6 White-throated Sparrows, 1 Swamp Sparrow, 2 Tufted Titmice, 2 Black-capped Chickadees, 1 Dark-eyed Junco, and 1 Downy Woodpecker.
