Blackpoll Warblers - 09 Oct 2021

Fog greeted the morning and left a deep haze over Sterling State Park. It began to lift by 9 as the Sun began to break through dense clouds. A Red-tailed Hawk appeared as a gray ghost before lifting off.

The parking lot next to the first ponds was active with a nice little flock of Blackpoll Warblers with a few Yellow-rumped and Palm Warblers mixed in. The Blackpolls were most cooperative.
