Late-season Osprey - 31 Oct 2021

I stopped by Pt. Mouillee SGA Headquarters on the way home from hawk watch. With a stiff WNW wind I was hoping that some birds were moving south of the boat launch. I'd see a pair of Red-tailed Hawks in the hour I was there.

However, I did see a late season juvenile Osprey at the entrance to the parking lot. 

Tree Swallows were swarming the marsh, so I grabbed a pic or two before leaving.

I drove down Rheaume Rd. and found a circling Red-tailed Hawk, and several Bald Eagles taking advantage of the loft provided by the winds.
