Horned Grebes and Tree Swallows - 29 Mar 2022

A late afternoon run down to Pt. Mouillee HQ yielded a half-dozen Horned Grebes and a flock of several dozen Tree Swallows foraging along the breakwall. I had the Sony a9 and 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM lens with me so it was fun to give the old combo a workout. My only regret was having a minimum shutter speed of 1/2000 sec; I should've had it set for 1/4000 sec to catch the swallows zipping by.
