A presumed Great Blue Heron flew over the house this evening. As I watched it, though, it appeared awfully dark with pointy wings that had me wondering if I just saw a Little Blue Heron(?). I decided to do a quick drive through the complex and check the ponds. No heron. But, a Barn Swallow pair were sitting on the street sign at the corner.
