Bobby Irwin reported 3 American Golden Plovers at Pt. Mouillee HQ yesterday afternoon. This morning Emily Simon re-found them along the east side of the parking lot. So, when Mark Hainen arrived at Hawk Watch this morning after photographing them I took off to look for them.
Easiest drive-up photo opp in a long time...
Emily would also report a Long-billed Dowitcher later in the day, but it flew when flushed by a Northern Harrier.
