Sandhill Cranes - 11 Sep 2022
I went to Lake Erie Metropark to look for a Red Knot that was found early in the day by Bobby Irwin. Scoping the marsh west of the Wave Pool failed to relocate the bird, but a half-dozen Wilson's Snipe, numerous Wood Ducks, and several Lesser Yellowlegs were nice consolations.
I then walked the Marshland Museum trail, but it was dead quiet. The only action was 3 Sandhill Cranes next to the boardwalk on the west side.
