Ground-level Warblers - 30 Aug 2023
Overnight storms brought a mini cold front this morning. Skies were cloudy and it was a cool 60F with a light breeze. I hoped that this weather might bring the warblers down to ground level, and I was right.
Birds were concentrated but scattered, so I needed to walk a lot of trails to find them. But, once I did find them their numbers were massive!
Red-eyed Vireos continue to show well.
