Ruby-crowned Kinglets - 23 Sep 2023

Another slow morning at Elizabeth Park. Mosquitos were also light, which was welcome.

I did find a Nashville Warbler, Magnolia Warbler, and Chestnut-sided Warbler but pics were hard to come by.

A Red-eyed Vireo made an appearance, but kept its back to me the entire time (2 seconds).

I ran into Amber Piotter. She reported an Orange-crowned Warbler near the NE corner of the center island (Justin Labadie had one a day earlier). I followed her to the area, and we did not relocate it. However, a pair of Ruby-crowned Kinglets were a nice consolation.
