Red-tailed Hawks - 28 Oct 2024

Afternoon at Detroit River Hawk Watch brought lots of distant kettles of Turkey Vultures and a few fly-over Red-tailed Hawks. The Red-tailed Hawks were more cooperative with flight lines today. A juvenile,

a more distant adult, 

and an even-more distant adult...

I managed to spot our first Golden Eagle of the afternoon. Very distant. We'd finish the day with 3.
