Full Moon - 24 Oct 2007


With clear skies and a full moon this evening I couldn't resist taking some digiscoped images through the Zeiss 85T*Fl using my Nikon Coolpix P5000. 


After taking a bunch of stills I took several short videos. While reviewing the vids I could see migrating birds passing (more like streaking) across the face of the moon. No ID's unfortunately, but what a gorgeous moon. The crazy man on PBS said that this moon is 14% larger than normal due to its close proximity to Earth. I had guessed 15%...
