'Twas The Night Before Christmas - 1862
While scanning photo albums of my (late) mother-in-law, I came across an exact replica of the original, handwritten poem, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, written by Clement C. Moore on March 13, 1862. The poem was written on parchment, and Esther had received it many years ago from Don Foote, then President of the American Central Corporation of Lansing, MI. Here it is in its entirety:

ReplyDeleteI have one like that from my grandmothers home . Any idea how I can authenticate it . Also does anyone have an appraisal or info on how much it's worth ? I have tried to do research and this post is the closest I've come to finding people who have exactly what I have . Thank you
